About Attitudes
About Attitudes
'Attitudes' is a three-year capacity building and co-creation project in the field of Hip Hop dance between 6 European partners. Central to the project is the creation of 6 co-productions which will be touring across the 6 countries. Besides from these co-productions a wide range of activities such as workshops, seminars, talks and residencies are included in the ‘Attitudes’-activities.
The European partners are: Dansekapellet (DK), Centre Chorégraphique National de Rennes et de Bretagne (FR), HOP Festival (ES), Kampnagel (DE), Norrlandsoperan (SE) og Summer Dance Forever (NL).
The Danish co-production
Choreographer and dancer, Camilla Siddu has been chosen by open call to create the Danish co-production with the title, SO CLOSE, AWAY - Conversations with the past. In this project she works with dancers, Michael Rossi and Zuni Trosborg. The performance will premiere at Kampnagel, Hamburg Oct. 18, 2024 and will afterwards be touring in the 6 European countries.
SO CLOSE AWAY takes a closer look at love's gestures through the lens of the story of three childhood friends and their connection. The narrative explores how separation impacts relationships and how these small gestures profoundly influence our lives, building unique memories in our journeys.
The performance could be experienced at Dansekapellet during the Attitudes International Dance Festival in October 2024. Here, the first three of the six Attitudes co-productions were presented. The last three can be experienced at the festival in 2025. Read more about the festival here.
Attitudes is co-funded by the European Union.
Toolkit
