Out of DUST

16 Jan

16.01.2020, 19:30 to 19.01.2020, 19:30
Lean into another universe through movement and aethereal set designs. Plays January 16.-19. 2020

Out of Dust is a physical manifestation of the concept of the human soul by the DeLeón Company. It is inspired by a quote from Danish Author Naja Marie Aidt’s book “When Death Takes Something From You Give It Back” (2017, Gyldendal):

Step into the vast unknown.

Sense the feelings, the open light and listen to the voices of the cells in your body. Step into the vast unknown.

Everything here is in quiet movement, with sounds of heavy music, and an uncontrollable sensation occurs, everything shakes, you are shaken.

The dust floats in the air, and out of the dust appears…

In a time populated by people searching for understanding and specific answers to big questions, the show allows a space for the unfathomable. A belief in the soul has long been trapped between science and people’s need for concrete answers. Do you dare to believe in the unknown?

Let yourself lean into another universe through physical dance and aetherial set designs, and allow the possibility of coming face to face with the intangible.
