Wheelchair accessibility
Ground floor (main entrance level) offers step-free access to:
- The Theatre/ Black Box
- Studios 1, 2, and 3
- Accessible restroom
First floor:
Kuppelsalen (the dome hall) can be accessed from the ground floor via a lifting platform and two portable ramps to bridge a 14 cm step.
Basement level:
Includes changing rooms and shower facilities.
Accessible only by stairs (not wheelchair accessible).
Note: The accessible restroom on the ground floor can also be used as a changing room.
We recommend calling us in advance - we’re happy to help you find a suitable spot. In our experience, most wheelchair users prefer to sit at the back of the Theatre Hall near the tech booth, rather than at the front where the lift leads.
Accessible parking space
There is one designated accessible parking space.
Access to the parking area at Bispebjerg Torv is from Frederiksborgvej.
The area is paved with asphalt and includes a 2.5-meter-wide accessible parking space.
There is additional free space along one side of the accessible parking bay for extra maneuverability.
Visitors with disabilities and companions
Companions (of visitors with disabilities) with a valid companion card (ledsagerkort) receive free admission.
Transportation
Bus lines 6A and 4A stop right at the door.
Visitors with hearing impairments
Both the black box (teatersalen) and the dome hall (kuppelsalen) are equipped with hearing loop systems (teleslyngeanlæg).
Guide/Service Dogs
You are welcome to bring your guide or service dog, as long as it is clearly marked with a “Working Dog” vest or similar identification.
Special needs
- We sell earplugs for 5 DKK – just ask the front-of-house staff.
- Seats are not numbered for our performances.
- Trigger warnings are listed in the descriptions of each event under the event tab.
- If you need a break during a performance, our front-of-house staff will be happy to help you find a quiet space to step away.
