Kulturnatten since 1993

For over 30 years, Kulturnatten has been one of Copenhagen’s most beloved and well-attended cultural events. When schools break for autumn holiday, Kulturnatten creates a festive evening where the city’s entire cultural scene comes together, opening its doors to delight and inspire us all.

At Dansekapellet, you can experience an annual dance performance for the whole family. Each year, young dancers from Dans i Nordvest perform alongside professional dancers under the expert choreographic guidance of Uppercut Dance Theatre’s artistic directors, Stephanie Tomasen and Mark Philip.

Over the years, these performances have included ANIMAL KINGDOM (2014), ASIA BY NIGHT (2015), ALL THAT JAZZ (2016), TIDSMASKINEN (2017), NANGIJALA (2018), JUNGLEBYEN (2019), YALLAH VI LEVER (2021), SARAH IN WONDERLAND (2022) CIRQUE DE NORD-OUEST(2023), JAGTEN PÅ DIAMANTEN (2024).
