Marcus “Mackie” Larsson has for many years immersed himself in the dance styles of hip hop and house, among others through the Five Styles and One Style programs at Åsa Folk High School. He has been active in competitions and battles, winning HipHop Weekend House 2vs2 and Paris Dance Delight with the French dance group Kaynix Supreme, as well as being a finalist at Japan Dance Delight with the same group.

Nia Torres

Versatile urban and contemporary dance artist trained in Los Angeles, Rome, Paris and Barcelona. Her multidisciplinary style blends floorwork, acrobatics, urban dance and dance‑theatre, rooted in experimentation and body awareness. Artistic director of Nisham Company (est. 2021), she’s performed in Quito (A Cielo Abierto 2022), featured in the 2023 Victoria’s Secret campaign, and now joins Iron Skulls Co. and Mirar. Her approach channels perception into expressive movement.

Gustavo “Deku” Rojas

 ‘What She Said’ is a poetic, sensual and reflective dance performance that addresses discourses of beauty, how these define relations of power in society, and their shadow aspects. 
 It addresses ideas of beauty in relation to capitalistic production, genetic reproduction, and inner beauty in relation to God and spirituality. 
 The narrative is colored with a critical approach & reflects the artist's position as a Black Biracial Cis Female. 

Titel: The Power of the circle
At the heart of this experience are community, creativity, and improvisation. The circle - dance’s original form – is not only a space for movement but a vessel of power, history, and collective presence. Together, we will dive into its deep roots and explore how dance can become a way to connect - with one another and with something greater than ourselves.

Born into a family of dancers, Kaê Brown Carvalho (FR) followed his parents Michelle Brown & Armando Pekeno’s (Cie Ladaïnha) tours from an early age. Trained in capoeira and contemporary dance, he transitioned to b-boying in 2011, founding Les Ratz crew in Rennes, France. Kaê’s style, blending fluidity of contemporary dance with capoeira touch, has led to collaborations with François Frenetik, Zombeavers, and Saïdo Lehlouh, among others.

Mirar 

‘Mirar’ is a duet that explores the relationship between the observer and the observed, questioning how our perception of others shapes the way we see – and exist in – the world. A gaze is never neutral; it weaves meanings, projects stories, and reshapes reality. What we see is filtered through experience, emotion, and context – revealing as much about ourselves as about what’s right before us. 

As part of this year’s festival, we are hosting a special industry panel bringing together three generations of dancers and choreographers, each with different dance backgrounds.
