Dansekapellet’s Offerings for Schools

Get up from your chair – get on the floor and dance!

At Dansekapellet, we think with our bodies. Every week, children, young people, and adults come together here to unleash the joy of dance and good music in our dance studios and on our stage.

We offer dance programs for school children and students in youth education. These can range from a single day to a week-long program or regular weekly visits to Dansekapellet over a period of time.

Dansekapellet is happy to collaborate with school staff to develop programs that support specific subjects or focus on the physical, playful dimension. Here, children and young people are not just participants—they are also co-creators of the dance.

Classes take place in Dansekapellet’s beautiful facilities, led by our experienced dance educators. They have teaching experience across various dance genres—including contemporary dance, hip hop, break, house, MGP dance for the youngest children, creative dance, and more—and backgrounds as performing dancers and choreographers.
