2.15 - 3.15: Waacking with Mutekirena (FR)

3.30 - 4.30: Locking with Ibrah Silas Jackson (NL)

OPEN LEVEL workshops are open, which means that all levels are welcome – however, it is required that participants are used to taking dance classes – level and styles are irrelevant.
PRICE 50 DKK per workshop.

Iron Mike (FR)

With more than 25 years of experience, Iron Mike is a prominent figure in the battle and dance community. The first European popper to win the prestigious 1vs1 Old School Night competition in Japan, he also received the Dance Delight Award for Best Popping Battle that same year. His impressive list of wins includes victories such as Juste Debout, Hip Opsession, Step Ya Game Up, Urbanation, and Supreme Cercle Underground.
As the founder of Boogie Tunes and co-founder of the 20/20 Association with Nury, Iron Mike is dedicated to nurturing the Spanish popping community through annual training programs. Iron Mike has established himself as an international dancer, performer, choreographer, and mentor, collaborating with notable artists like La Brigade, Cris'f, Kenny Garrett and Inspectah Deck from Wu-Tang Clan.

Mutekerina (FR)

Serena Freir aka. Mutekerina is a dancer, choreographer, model, visual artist and activist from Paris. She has been dancing for 16 years starting with Hip Hop, then House dance and finally specialized herself in Waacking after discovering it in the clubs of Paris. Through Waacking she embodies what she wants to represent and share. Today she uses all her artistic affinities to create a safe space and transmit her messages especially through teaching Waacking, organizing events and performing on stage.

Ibrah Silas Jackson (NL)

Ibrah Silas Jackson (2000) is a director and choreographer from Rotterdam. His foundation in creating lies in Hip Hop culture, but he also gained more knowledge about different movement disciplines such as contemporary, funk styles and african cultural styles. The core of his work exists of storytelling through visual arts and movements. Ibrah made different short movies and videoclips as director, is a dancer of Ghetto Funk Collective and started choreographing theater pieces in 2021. Recently Ibrah performed his new piece “Until the Quiet Comes” at Breakin’ Convention Netherlands Tour. And he participated in Back to the Lab at Breakin’ Convention, where he made a preview of The Hereditary, which he will also perform at Breakin’ Convention London in May 2024.
Ibrah is the choreographer of Hereditary by Create4, which you can experience on stage during Attitudes International Dance Festival.
